Palace het Loo
In the woods near Apeldoorn is Palace het Loo. This was the favourite summer residence of the Dutch viceregal and royal family from 1686 to 1975. The Palace has been set up as a museum since 1984. The entire complex is surrounded by a vast woodland park with ponds.

De Hoge Veluwe

National Park de Hoge Veluwe is located between Apeldoorn and Arnhem. Here you can enjoy a nice walk or visit the park by bicycle. In addition, a visit to the Kröller-Muller museum is worth the effort for sure.

Burgers Zoo
A visit to Burgers Zoo in Arnhem is definitely worth it! The park contains over 3,000 animals. In the park, you feel like you're in the desert one moment and in the middle of the ocean the next.

Apenheul
You do not have to go to the rainforest to see monkeys swing through the woods. In the woods of Apenheul you will get to know hundreds of apes and monkeys. The gorilla's, the orang-utans and the bonobo's live on large islangs where you van see them really well. Most of the other monkeys live freely between the visitors. They sometimes even climb on your shoulder! In Apenheul you will also find a tropical pet farm and a fantastic playground. Became curious? Go on adventure!

Julianatoren

The Julianatoren is an entertaining amusement park on the outskirts of Apeldoorn in the middle of the woods. There are many attractions for young and old. You can climb the Juliana tower, 'lose your way’ in the spectacular roaming garden, where a secret passage leads to the mouse story or you can encounter the parade characters. 
 
Dutch Open-Air Museum
The Dutch Open-air museum in Arnhem has been open since 1918. The museum park offers a vivid image of 250 years of daily life and work in the Netherlands.

Burgers Zoo (Burgers Zoo has a lot to offer during all seasons!: Burgers Safari, Burgers Wildlife Gardens, Chimpanzees and Gorillas, Orang Utans, The Ocean, The dessert and many many more! Dolfinarium (This is Europe largest dolphin theatre!) Paleis het Loo (The Royal Palace was the favourite summer residence of the Stadtholders and the Royal Family of the Netherlands from 1686 to 1975. Since 1984 the palace has served as a museum.)
Apeldoorn (Apeldoorn is famous for it's City Parcs and it's Green Character. The city has a lot of old monumental houses. The Royal Family has lived in the Royal Palace in Apeldoorn for a long time. Form 1984 it is a National Museum.) Arnhem (Arnhem is worldfamous due to Operation Market Garden WW II. It is a sparkling city!
