Palace het LooIn the woods near Apeldoorn is Palace het Loo. This was the favourite summer residence of the Dutch viceregal and royal family from 1686 to 1975. The Palace has been set up as a museum since 1984. The entire complex is surrounded by a vast woodland park with ponds.

De Hoge VeluweNational Park de Hoge Veluwe is located between Apeldoorn and Arnhem. Here you can enjoy a nice walk or visit the park by bicycle. In addition, a visit to the Kröller-Muller museum is worth the effort for sure.

JulianatorenThe Julianatoren is an entertaining amusement park on the outskirts of Apeldoorn in the middle of the woods. There are many attractions for young and old.
